Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County offers several ways you can get involved! You can become a construction volunteer, an office volunteer, or volunteer for one of our many committees.

Construction Volunteer:
Whether you are a part of a corporate group, church group or non-corporate group, or an individual there is a place for you at Habitat!

No skills are needed, the only requirement is that you like to have fun and work hard.  The job varies depending on the week; you may be working on one of our homes or mowing the grass at the site of one of future homes.  All the work you do supports Habitat’s mission of No More Shacks!”  All the jobs keep the cost of the home at it’s lowest for our partner families.  All construction volunteers must be 18 or older to work on site.

Office Volunteers:
Need to add a little something on your resume, volunteering is the perfect way to gain additional skills or learn new ones!  We have volunteer opportunities that may include data entry, filing, envelope labeling and stuffing and even some web site construction.  We are also looking for volunteers to clean the office and help with the up-keep of the building.  This is a great way for high school students to get involved and make a difference.

Committee Volunteers:
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County runs with the help of committees, without them the office staff couldn’t achieve half of their goals.  The committees may meet once a month, some committees may require more time while others require less time.

Listed below are several of the committees that Habitat offers. Don’t see what you like? Give us a call and we can help find you the perfect match!
