In our 20 years history, businesses and corporations have been the backbone of our work throughout the county. In fact, 40 of the 46 homes built have been sponsored by the business community in some way.
The benefit to having corporate sponsorship is clear to Habitat, but why should your business get involved?
Corporate Build Days
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County offers a variety of group volunteer opportunities ranging in commitment from just one day to completing an entire house. We can accommodate groups of volunteers up to 10 people at each of our locations, though we are open to working with you to accommodate a larger group when possible. Corporate Team Build Packages range from $1,000 to $5,000 and include one day of construction, a Build Coach who works with you to align your building experience with your goals for team-building, a delicious catered lunch, Habitat t-shirts, quality photography of your day and a framed photo for our office, DVD slideshow/video, invitation to the home dedication where your team will see their hard work and meet the Habitat family, and promotion on-site, on our website, and in our e-Newsletter. This funding is necessary to keep us building, and can be raised by individuals, departments, companies, matching funds, or through other grants. If your group is unable to donate at this level, please contact us to discuss other giving options in support of your group build day. We will help with creative ways to identify and secure resources.
Project Sponsorship
If you're looking for a way to make a larger impact on our community and to get your employees more involved, consider becoming a project sponsor. Project sponsors adopt an area of the home that is being built. Project sponsors:

Corporate Blitz These sponsors usually concentrate their efforts on one specific home, partnering with other smaller investors to bring a new home to life.

Genuardi House sponsors "adopt a house" and invest sufficient capital to provide for all or half post-acquisition building expenses.
