These are retail workers, fire fighters, child care professionals and others who work hard and long for a safe permanent place to live and raise their families.

Habitat helps families like these achieve homeownership every day. In our 21 years, we have built 49 homes, housing 181 individuals, including 123 children. But we could do so much more. With your gift, we can continue our work with families in Norristown, Pottstown and Upper Dublin.

We are an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), who just completed their 400,000th home. Although we receive lots of valuable best practice and information from HFHI, we do not receive ANY direct funding from them – we raise funds and build locally.

Cars for Homes

Do you have an older car, truck, van, trailer, RV or boat taking up valuable space in your yard? Car donations will support Habitat for Humanity's local and global mission of eliminating poverty housing and homelessness and save you the time and energy of finding a buyer.  By donating a car to our vehicle donation program, you can help Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County build houses in partnership with families in need of a hand up, not a hand out.

It's quick and easy to donate automobiles, trucks, boats, RV's, motorcycles, construction equipment and other vehicles - running or not!  Plus, you may be eligible for a tax deduction. (Consult your tax advisor or the IRS for details).
