Two easy ways to make a donation


Drop off donations at our ReStore
Donations are accepted at the ReStore Wednesday-Friday between 9 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. and Saturdays from 9     a.m. - 1:45 p.m.

Schedule a pick-up
To make arrangements for a pick-up for items too large for your vehicle, please call Cynthia, our donations coordinator, at 610-631-3149 between 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Or, email us using the form to the right.

A receipt acknowledging your donation will be given to you at the time of your donation.  Store restrictions and legal obligations do not allow us to place a value on your donated items. Your donation is tax deductible. Please consult your tax professional for details.

 

Donation Criteria:

All donations must be in resalable condition. 

Appliances
Must be fully functional with all parts
Must be 7 years old or newer
No trash compactors

 

Architectural elements/historical items
No lead paint on surfaces
Good condition
Call with more information

Cabinets
Wood cabinets only
Must have all doors and drawers
Good condition

 

Ceramic Tile
New, whole tiles only
Minimum of 20 sq. ft.
Must be boxed or in containers (no loose tile)

 

Doors - interior
No hollow core except paneled
No water damage, warping, or gashes
No lead paint on surface

 

Electrical/Lighting
Fully functional
Complete kits (if applicable)
No commercial / industrial

 

Flooring
New only, min. 20 sq. ft., must be boxed or strapped
Carpet roll and tiles
Hardwood / laminate must be unbroken
Vinyl roll and tiles

 

Furniture
Upholstered furniture - no rips, stains, fading,  odor, or pet hair
No particleboard desks
Good condition and fully functional

 

Hardware
Drawer / cabinet knobs, handles, hinges
Nails, screws, nuts, bolts, fasteners, locks (with key)
No rust or damage
Please keep separate (bagged or boxed)

 

Insulation
New only
Board or blanket
Blanket must be rolled for handling

 

Lumber / Millwork / Trim
Good condition
No lead paint
Minimum length 6' (except for top of door frame)

 

Sheet Construction
Plywood, drywall, green board, wood paneling
New only
Minimum of 1/2 sheet

 

Paint
Latex only
Light or neutral colors only
Full containers - qt., gallon, 5-gallon
No old, rusted, or unmarked cans

 

Plumbing
Clean
No glued / fitted pieces
Complete kits only (if applicable)
Faucets must be complete and in good condition

 

Sinks
Must be clean without chips or deep scratches
Neutral colors
No cultured marble / plastic / composite unless new in box
Pedestal sinks must have all parts

 

Tools
Garden tools in season
Power tools in good working order

 

Windows
Single, double hung, casement, or fixed
Wood or vinyl
Must have full jam, no rot, no broken glass or seals
Must be fully operational
 

 


PLEASE NOTE that we are unable to accept:
Unframed glass or mirrors; broken, rusty, non-functioning or otherwise poor conditioned items; anything toxic or hazardous; mattresses or box springs;  infant or toddler cribs, stroller, seats; or water heaters unless current model, brand new, and in original package.

 

We also accept:

  • Clean Dry Plastic Grocery Bags
  • Old T-Shirts (to be used as rags)
  • Cell Phones – keep them out of the landfills

Recyclables – soda cans, plastic bottles, white office paper, mixed paper (phone books, magazines, newspaper, catalogs), scrap metal.
