There are great days, and then there are truly exceptional moments and opportunities happening everyday in the worldwide network of Habitat partner families, volunteers and communities.
Today we answered a special call to action, as a team, in support of the University of Pennsylvania’s public radio station – the one and only "XPN” (at the world café live!) in support of their current Winter Fund Drive.
Imagine all the bells and whistles of live radio broadcasting, fundraising and volunteerism at its best - prefaced by a 45 minute commute downtown for a 7:00 am curtain call, and the chance to work along side the amazing WXPN staff, with a small group of dedicated local supporters overseeing and applauding our volunteer efforts.
Our sincerest appreciation goes out to everyone at WXPN for their “one of a kind” hospitality, and the memories of being part of their TEAM for a day!
