Annual Fund Manager




Primary Location: Habitat Headquarters

Reports to: Director of Development and Communications

Department: Development

Status: Full-time, Monday-Friday, Evening and Weekends as needed.


Position Summary: 

The Annual Fund Manager is responsible for the overall success of Habitat Montco’s annual giving program.  The manager directs and administers all aspects of annual giving to include direct mail; donor database; gift processing; special events; donor recognition and retention; and prospect identification. The Annual Fund Manager should be data driven and a passionate storyteller.

Responsibilities for the Affiliate and ReStore:

  • Manage the Annual Fund Campaign
    • Manage direct solicitation program not limited to but including: 5 Appeals, Quarterly Newsletter, e-requests, and website pop ups.
    • Manage donor acquisition program
    • Manage donor segmentation
    • Analyzes results and makes recommendation for future activity
    • Create and manage Monthly Giving Program
    • Create and manage Giving Societies
    • Coordinates special events including: Gala, Women Build Week, “Rock the Block”(s), Faith Build Week
    • Prepare and publish Annual Report in collaboration with the Director of Development and Communications as well as the Executive Director.
  • Donor Recognition and Stewardship
    • Manage annual fund donor recognition events
    • Develop plans to involve volunteers in thanking donors
    • Create and implement donor stewardship program for all donors
  • Administration
    • Supervise all functions of Development and Marketing Associate including all marketing materials, print and online, for the Affiliate and ReStore.
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry
    • Ensure the timely acknowledgement of gifts
    • Capture all donor information in the database
    • Supports major and annual giving with donor segmentation, prospect targets, donor research and tracking mechanisms
    • Develop annual budget for annual giving
    • Prepares weekly, monthly, and annual reports on all campaign activity
    • Assure maintenance of a central file of donor records of correspondence (hard copy).

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years development experience, including annual campaigns.
  • Knowledge of fund development principles and public relations.
  • Professional-level writing.


Hours, Compensation, and Benefits: 

  • Full-time
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm and occasional evenings and weekends
